Why We Built PsychSelfTest
PsychSelfTest started with a simple frustration: most free online psychology tests were either too shallow, loaded with ads, or quietly harvesting user data to sell. At the same time, formal psychological assessments — the kind that could genuinely help someone understand if they have ADHD, are autistic, or fall somewhere on the spectrum of human intelligence — were costly and inaccessible to millions of people.
We saw the same story playing out repeatedly: adults going decades without understanding why they felt "different." Parents unable to get their children assessed quickly enough. Students struggling without the language to describe their experience. People quietly wondering about their own minds with nowhere to turn that felt trustworthy, free, and private.
We launched PsychSelfTest to be exactly the kind of resource we wished had existed: honest about what it is (an educational tool, not a diagnosis), respectful of your privacy (your data goes nowhere), built on sound psychological principles, and — above all — completely free.
We are independent, carry no advertising, and are not affiliated with any clinical body or pharmaceutical company. Our only goal is to help you understand yourself a little better — and to point you in the right direction when you need more support than a website can offer.
